Did you know that Saturday September 22nd is American Business Women’s Day?
For those that are not familiar with ABW Day here is the background:
The first American Business Women’s Day (ABW Day) was celebrated in 1982. It is a national day for American to recognize the achievements of not only ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) members but also the millions of employed women in the U. S. It’s observed on September 22, the anniversary of ABWA’s founding.
In 1983 and 1986, joint congressional resolutions passed designating a national observance of September 22 as American Business Women’s Day. Following each resolution, President Ronald Reagan issued a presidential proclamation.
How can we let this day pass without doing something?
Answer: WE CAN’T!!!
In celebration of American Business Women’s Day, we want to invite every woman in business to: American Business Women’s Day Cheer and Share
When: Saturday September 22nd (national observance of ABW Day)

Mountain: 8am - 3pm
Central: 9am - 4pm
Eastern: 10am - 5pm
This 7-hour event will offer a chance for all businesswomen to:
· Share about their business
· Talk about their experiences
· Exchange ideas and advice with other business women
· Discuss topics of interests
· Meet new people and learn from each other
With your help, we can make this impromptu Cheer and Share hugely successful for everyone that participates. For helping, us spread the word about American Business Women’s Day Cheer and Share. We are offering you a special listing in The ABWD Cheer and Share e-directory that will be available a week after the ABWD Cheer and Share Event for free.
