Happy Birthday U.S.A
Tomorrow most of us will be grilling out and lighting fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July. As you break out the red, white, and blue - take a moment to think about all the freedoms that get taken for granted. Through out our great country’s history there are men and women that stood up for those very rights, that worked tirelessly to right wrongs and to improve life for Americans - some gave their lives and some continue to give their lives to protect all that we hold dear.
My challenge to all of you is to spend some time thinking about what you can do to make a difference in our country.
Whether it is joining the school board, volunteering at a local shelter, or organizing a fundraiser in your community - the smallest action can be a catalyst for positive change.
Never underestimate the power that each of us have to facilitate change in the world that we live in. Because those great men and women that came before us never did!
I wish to all of you and your families a happy, fun and safe 4th of July.
