Wisconsin Self Esteem Coach Tonya Ramsey Celebrates the Women Inside the Mom
July 14, 2004 ~ During a recent interview on Heal Yourself Talk Radio July 9th, host Rebecca White requested her guest, Coach Tonya Ramsey to discuss the SuperMom epidemic. "It doesn't matter whether you work outside the home, from home, or a stay at home mom...being a mom is a hard job." She told listeners.
To go along with the desire to help moms stay out of the SuperMom Trap, Ramsey introduced the 3 R's of a balance life: Rest, Renew, and Release, at her twice a month chat, Mom's Coffee Break. During the chat she offered up a challenge, to help illustrate the importance of the 3 R's.
For the next week participants are challenged to get plenty of rest, allow them time to renew, and release what is not adding toward the betterment of their lives. The 3 R's Challenge is open to anyone that wishes to improve their lives.
To participate, go to http://momscoffeebreak.wordpre ss.com/2007/07/07/the-3-rs-challenge/ and leave a comment and then report back on how the week went. "The 3 R's Challenge is a chance for Mom's to really understand the importance of taking care of themselves." Tonya commented.
She is also offering a free e-book, Self-Nurturing for the Nurturer to help get and keep participants motivated.
Ramsey, who is a work at home mom, balances running her businesses, with being a mom to her two-year-old son, Logan, and being a student at the University of Wisconsin, where she is finishing her degree in Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies.
